What Do We Promote?

Our commitment to the goal of positive outcomes that lead to a better future for women and girls can be be best represented in the main components of our programmes.

Growth

Through participation in physical and exergaming activities, women and girls not only improve their physical and mental health but also really grow in confidence. These activities are the cornerstone of our programmes and the areas where we see the greatest results. 

Achievement

We promote education for females and encourage them to broaden their horizons for future careers. We support and funds courses where we feel that candidates are committed and would benefit from additional tuition or career-related certification or training.  

Support

Through mentoring and counselling we provide the necessary support to help women and girls navigate the many challenges they face in their daily lives. By overcoming these challenges, they are more able to reach their full potential in various aspects of life.

Social Bonds

A supportive network for emotional well-being, fosters a sense of community, and contributes to the development of strong interpersonal skills, empowering girls and women to navigate various aspects of life with confidence and resilience.

Safe Space for Girls

We create safe spaces through specific activities and classes tailored for girls. We understand that many girls drop out of sport by the end of primary school, this is a big issue at the moment. Just some of the reasons include, the fear of being judged, body conscious and not a real access to sport other than through PE lessons. Our programmes not only help to develop their physical prowess but also cultivate a resilient mindset that transcends societal expectations, empowering them to pursue their goals with determination and confidence.

The provision of a safe space means:

  • Girls-Only Classes: Offering sessions like boxing, football, fitness classes, or empowerment workshops exclusively for girls.
  • Secure Environment Ensuring the facility/space has adequate security measures and the participants feel secure in their environment.
  • Mentoring Programmes: Pairing young girls with female mentors for guidance and support

Empowering Females

We provide girls/women only boxing, fitness and football sessions that are run by females. We currently have partnerships with local boxing clubs, sports facilities and charities that will provide space for these classes to be run. We offer a diverse class of girls that can not only feel safe but begin to enjoy sport and exercise again. We utilise female football coaches and boxing instructors along with female social workers who aid and facilitate these sessions in the right environments.

Participation in sports is a powerful catalyst for empowering females, fostering physical strength, mental resilience, and a sense of self-confidence. Not only does it enhance overall health and well-being but also dismantles traditional gender stereotypes by showcasing women as formidable competitors and leaders. Through our programmes, we encourage females to develop essential life skills such as teamwork, discipline, and perseverance, which are invaluable both on and off the field. Furthermore, the camaraderie formed by a supportive community encourages females to embrace their individuality and celebrate their achievements.
