Sports & Fitness

The bedrock of our organisation is the use of physical activity to advance well-being of the participants. Through the use of innovative fitness games as well as traditional sports such as boxing and football, we aim to get communities active. 

Mental Well-being

As physical health improves, so does mental health and we seek ways to maximise the positive impact of one on the other. We also provide counselling sessions, mentoring and support for specific challenges such as ADHD and dementia.  

Achievement

Through mentoring and counselling we provide the necessary support to help women and girls navigate the many challenges they face in their daily lives. By overcoming these challenges, they are more able to reach their full potential in various aspects of life.

Community Focus

The ultimate goal in producing better people is to produce a better society. One in which everyone has the access to the same opportunities and the chance to flourish and play an active part in creating a better future for all.

Our Team

The Mindful Movements team is a diverse and skilled group united in the goal of fostering community well-being. Our staff includes fitness professionals, England Boxing Level 2 certified coaches – both male and female, enriching our programs with their expertise in boxing. We also have a Youth Justice Social Worker and experienced teachers, enhancing our understanding and responsiveness to the challenges faced by today’s youth.

Safety and trust are at the forefront of our operations. Each team member has up-to-date DBS checks, safeguarding certifications, and first aid qualifications, ensuring a secure and nurturing environment. Our team’s diverse backgrounds reflect the community we serve, enabling us to effectively meet the unique needs of every individual.

Several staff members hold Principles in Dementia Care certificates, highlighting our dedication to supporting the elderly, particularly those with cognitive challenges.
